Even after 20 years, I have never seen two cases the same. Every family is individual and must be treated with the utmost care and consideration
Pamela Horner
Family Law Specialist
Pamela Horner has enjoyed the last 22 years as a leading specialist in family law in the Weybridge area and currently practices as a consultant at Wheltons after more than 18 years as a partner with Guillaumes. Pamela can provide expert advice on all matrimonial matters including family breakdowns, (including married, unmarried & same sex couples), separation, divorce & property disputes.
Pamela was, and continues to be, impressed by the experience and depth of knowledge of all aspects of family law of her colleagues at Wheltons. Two of the partners, Lynn Childs and Julie Watts, are fellow collaborative lawyers. Pamela welcomes the ethos at Wheltons whereby there is a commitment to consider all methods of dispute resolution to suit each client and their individual case.
She has also been a member of Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association) for more than 20 years, and is accredited by the Law Society as a family law specialist and has been a collaborative lawyer since 2004.
For many years she was on the Law Society’s personal injury panel as she had dealt with personal injury cases and clinical negligence matters as well as having a substantial case load of all aspects of family and matrimonial matters.
Pamela studied languages at university and subsequently worked as an interpreter for an Anglo French company before changing career and training as a company secretary. She worked for a multinational company and was responsible for dealing with many and varied international company secretarial matters as well as the company’s quotation on the French Stock Exchange.
During a career break to start a family, she spent time completing a law degree and retrained as a solicitor in 1987.
